Children's Hospital Visit

After two weeks - Sydney was still throwing up, still sick, still not eating, still not sleeping. We had already gone to the Childrens Hospital but she was not getting any better.

So Wednesday morning I woke up early and decided I needed to take her in. Tyson took London to Goddard and I got Sydney to the ER. She threw up twice in the room and they started her on IV's. It was really sad to see her hurt because of the needles. I know how I scared I am because of shots and my heart goes out for her. Well after 5 hour they said her blood liver counts were higher. So we were admited. They took us to a new room. Sydney slept well most of the day. She hated the nurses coming in to check on her - the nurses BTW were AMAZING! This si why I love the Childrens Hospital. They just know families and kids. I feel so blessed to have them.

Well the night was pretty uneventful. Sydney refused to eat. She was given an enema but not pooping. We did chest X rays and tummy xrays. All they could see was that Sydney was constipated. They gave her Miralax to help her go to the bathroom. They discovered she had Apera-Influenza - so a nasty case of the flu. They still had no idea what she was throwing up.

The next morning they took more blood and her liver levels were still a little high but they had ruled out the big desieses. We waited a little longer to see if she could hold down jello or toast. Sydney was is MUCH brighter spirits now - she wanted to go on walks and watch movies and even eat blue popcicles. It was good to see her back to her old self again.

After nap we decided we needed to go home. We were discharged and told she needed miralax once a day - so that is what we are doing. This morning she went to school, had a great time and today she has been great.

We are SO thankful for all the good nurses and staff. I am so thankful for insurance.

Carpet Is In

Our carpet is in! It looks awesome and so soft. We had some frustration when they sent the wrong padding but it was fixed quickly.

Tyson has been working on the hardwood floors for a week now. Our helper bailed out but Tyson has figured it out. It's a S.L.O.W process! We thought a week would do it but since Tyson wants to make sure it's right, we have about 18 rows out of 200 done. And then the nail gun we bought is not compatible with any of the nails the Home Depot sells.

Sydney still continues to be sick. I mean it's been over a week. On Sunday she threw up in the middle of sacrament and Tyson and I ran out with throw up all over our clothes. Poor girl. Tyson took her home, I changed and went back to church for our primary ice cream party.

We thought for sure we would get in by October 1st but now I'm thinking it would be more November - which makes me sad but at the same time it's the way it is.

I'm excited for the fall to be here. It's been really nice to have slightly cooler days but also not be freezing.

Library Fish

We love our local library. The girls have really loved the fish. They ways have fun things to do and music time.

Saturday Fun Day

On a rare day - Tyson is home with us. It's  been so amazing to have him here.

We had pancakes this morning then we test drove a Pedego bike that will be my dream to own someday.

I did an open house for Pat from 11-1230. Meanwhile Tyson found this Harvest Fest and the girls had a blast!

There were pony rides, train rides and so many fun things. The girls had a blast!

We had our carpet installed today - it looks amazing! The people who did it were a great Latino couple. They were so cute. We officially have both of our neighbors on each side selling their homes. We are praying and fasting for good new neighbors.

Museum visit

RWe visited the museum on Thursday. We got there right start which is my favorite. We saw the dinosaurs, a poison exhibit and hit the discovery zone. The girls did really well.

Tyson has been off all week but at the house. We are working on hardwood floors. All the painting is done!!! And the colors look great! We get out vents cleaned out today. Carpet tomorrow. We are very excited. Tyson is teaching seminary this week and we have seen so many blessings - one of them being that he simply is not tired despite getting up at 445 and getting to bed at 10. I also noticed that I am able to get up earlier and have energy. What a blessing!

Work has been good but also challenging. There are days when I wonder how I can keep up with everything. I love what I do and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have my clients and income and business - still I make mistakes and satan knows that is such a trigger point for me. I have to constantly work to keep up, up at 530 because I want my clients to be happy. I am so thankful for then.

I've been hearing a lot about the Syrian crisis happening and all those families leaving their country for safety. My heart has been broken by the children who have died. It all feels very real to me. Im on it thankful for tithing and the help that the church offers to those people. I feel so blessed to be safe and to have our little house.

Sick Sydney

Sydney came home today from school saying her tummy hurt. We tried going pee, poop but nothing helped. She took a short nap but woke up that her tummy was hurting. Around 430 she started to
Throw up. 5 throw ups, 6 towels and two changes of clothes later you find us here.

On the bathroom floor, next to the toilet. She has not eaten anything and I tried to give her apple juice but she threw that up to. Poor girl :(

London is as happy as a clam though - she gets to watch all the Dora she wants while I stay close to Sydbey.
