Twelve Months

Weight: 20 lbs, 6 oz
Height: 29.5 inches

Fun Facts:

1. You have walked by yourself! You have taken 5-6 steps by yourself. You are still pretty woobly but you have walked sweet baby! You are mostly motivated by puffs.

2. You are cutting your two top teeth. Ouch! You are loving strawberries, cheese sticks, bananas, bread and pasta.

3. You are slowly switching from formula to whole milk. No reactions that we can see.

4. You are still taking two naps although neither is longer than 1.5 hours. You go to bed at 730 and get up by 705 am.

5. You are loving saying "dada" and sometimes even "daddy". You say momma but it sounds more like "nana".

6. You love animals and freak out whenever you see one, specialy cats and dogs.

7. You make the funniest faces when you smile with your entire mouth but no teeth - your little nose gets squished up and you are so proud of yourself.

8. You are pretty stubborn and get mad when you try something but can't get it right.

9. You still hate your carseat. You can last 30 minutes before you start to freak out, so we keep our trips short. Most of the time though you babble and talk to yourself the entire time.

10. You are loving your daddy more and more. You guys specially love to dance, play hide and seek and being outside.

11. You are no longer interested in baby food - real food only.

12. You are loving your blankie more and more these days - must be a security thing.

13. You love playing "una tortillita" and you clap my hands instead of your own.

14. You love to trace words while we read - you feel like such a big girl.

15. You seem like such a little girl now - no longer a baby. It makes me so happy and yet sad. I can't believe how fast this year has gone, mostly because some days seem to go on forever

We Voted

Sydney and I headed out to do early voting today. It was super fast. All the workers were dying over how cute Sydney was. She even got her own "I voted today" sticker.

I am rooting for Mitt Romney!

Pumpkin Patch Visit

Saturday night Tyson got off early from work and we hit Rock Creek Farms for our first ever pumpkin patch. We got there and had NO idea it was soooo big or that it closed at 630. We went straight to the farm animals becuase the pumpkins were like $6 each!

Kayla and Sean Thompson joined us along with the Scottorns. It was actually really fun. They had lots of little booths for pictures and a little maze. Sydney loved all the animals, even though the big white goose made her cry at the end. We were done after an hour but I guess that is the baby standard time to be done. We went home and put Sydney down. We watched some Shark Tank and went to bed. Even though it sounds short, it was really really fun. It was great to be out and do something different.

Earlier that day the Scottorns came and we cleaned out my storage unit and made a work bench for Tyson. We were pretty excited about it.

Sunday we hit stake conference after Sydneys nap. After church we went on a walk around this gorgeous neighboorhood and even hit an open house - which was way out of our price range but it was still fun to dream. The rest of the day we spent hanging out at home. Tyson washed all our floors in preparation for our Utah trip this weeked :) We are very very excited.

Conference Weekend

We had a fantastic conference weekend. Busy but not too busy. Saturday Tyson worked so Sydney and I hung out at home, cleaned and prepared for our parties. Sydney took naps most of the talks but was able to listen to a couple of each session.

I specially loved the Saturday morning session - Pres. Urckdorf, Pres. Monson were my favorite. Tyson got off at 530, came home and rushed to the Preisthood session. I had Sarah, Kayla and Betsy come over and hang out during preisthood. We made german pancakes and had some corn casserole. It was really yummy. Everyone was gone by 730 to put kiddos to bed. I cleaned up, headed up stairs to read and was sleep by 915. Tyson called to say he was headed to Red Robin with some guys from the Red Leaf Ward.

Sunday morning for some reason Tyson was up at 6 am - he kept saying "babe I'm not sure why but I feel like it's christmas morning! I'm so excited! So I was up at 615 and we just talked in bed until 715 when Sydney got up. It was a great conversation. He told me about Preisthood and hanging out with the guys.

We got up and folded some laundry. At 830 we headed downstairs to get ready for our conference party - we hosted 2 families and 4 missionaries. We made waffles, strawberries, dip and hashbrowns. It was really good food. We all huddled to listen to conference. It was a great time. Sydney got up at 11 and came down to play with Emma Stallings - there are both about 10 months and super loud - it was awesome.

Everyone left by 1230. That night at 5 we went to dinner at the Bugarins house. We were home by 7 pm and put Sydney down. We were in bed by 830. It was a really great relaxing weekend. Today we had free lunch at Panera bread and we walked to a nearby toy store. Sydney found a little shopping cart which was super fun.

We have been really infatuated with her lately. She's at SUCH a fun stage. She's started doing this thing where she grins REALLLY big and shows all her little toothless gum - she just gets so proud of herself and it melts my heart. All of the sudden she seems so big. All of the sudden I long for my small baby - even though we got one coming right around the corner. Sydney has taught us so much. I love her dosent even describe how we feel - but thats what all parents feel. It's amazing.

Eleven Months

Prego Update

According to baby bump I am 22 weeks along. We were thrilled to find out last week that we are having another girl!!! Tyson was beyond escatic. It was his dream to have sisters be really close just like him and his brother.

We decided we will probably go with London Ivania as a our name. We have loved the name London for a while and it just seems to fit. Hopefully she looks like a London :)

I'm starting to feel much better. I feel much more energy and have more patience. It's nice to get myself back into my routine.I still go to bed faithfull by 930 and can sleep 9 hours without a hitch. Sydney has been waking up a couple times a night so that has given me interrupted sleep but at least I feel pretty rested.

My hair is getting sooo thick.I got a cut last week and my hairstylist is always amazed at how much hair grows. My scyatic nerve has been acting up alot. On Sunday I had several sweet RS ladies question why I was limping after sacrament. I informed them of my nerve and they all felt so bad for me.

London is moving. A. Lot. She is loves to kick Tyson's hands and face when he talks to her. I am finding that I can no longer sleep on my back, only my side. I also really liking my left side best in bed.

My appetite has leveled off. I can go 4-5 hours before getting sick in between meals. I still love a big breakfast and lunch and a smaller dinner. I feel great that I wake up earlier due to Sydney, it feels like my body really enjoys it.

My belly has grown a lot in the last week. I can still manage to carry sydney as long as it's not up the stairs for some part of the day. It's soooo nice that she is much more mobile. She loves walking while holding on to my fingers and even though my back hurts, it's nicer than having 21 lbs on top of my belly.

Part of me feels like this pregnancy is going faster and at the same time - slower. Days are long but weeks go by fast. I feel much more peace with this pregnancy than with Sydneys. I remember being constantly worried about every little thing. I feel so much more peace this time around - or maybe I am just too busy to notice things.

It's October

My favorite month! Besides October being Syndey and Tyson's birthday, I've always loved october. the cooler weather, the fun decor, the warmer clothes - It's all so fun. I actually decorated this year since it's such a fun time.

We havent' done any crazy activities but I want to point out Sydney's new found obsession with our laptop. Anytime she can get close to it, she will start banging on the keys and be so proud when the screen changes. We are three weeks away from our trip to Utah to celebrate Sydney's birthday and we are so excited.
